Premier Millwork and Lumber Co., Inc. was established,
on Birdneck Road in Virginia Beach, Virginia in 1950 by Paul Gallup,
as a small custom millwork company. In 1974, George R. Melnyk, Sr.
purchased Premier and in 1984, identifying the company’s commercial
and residential job growth, moved the business to the present location
on Viking Drive.
Since 1950, Premier Millwork has grown from a company with a few employees to now employing more than 50 full time employees. We have also extended
our business opportunities along the east coast. Throughout the 60
years of business Premier Millwork has provided the highest quality
millwork for commercial and residential projects. We have established
a reputation along the eastern seaboard for providing “Millwork
of  Distinction” and are an AWI certified manufacturer. Our dedicated
employees, impressivefinished custom carpentry and diversity of projects
have brought Premier Millwork towherewe are today. These same factors
are what will carry us successfully into the future.
